Fulham's Liam Rosenior says he is aiming to mature into a 'world class' defender.
Fulham youngster Liam Rosenior says he is aiming to mature into a 'world class' defender within six years.
The right-back has been an ever-present during Fulham's impressive start to the season but is fiercely ambitious and is aiming to emerge as Gary Neville's long-term replacement for England.
At the moment Rosenior must content himself with continuing his development at Craven Cottage, but the 22-year-old believes that with Chris Coleman's ongoing support he can develop into one of the finest defenders in world football.
"I'm really happy the manager has backed me," Rosenior told The Independent.
"I think my performances have been good but I have a lot of improving to do.
"Every game I learn and I put those lessons into practice.
"I want to be seen as a world class right-back in five, six years."
