Liam Rosenior has trained his sights on securing a place in the England squad.
Liam Rosenior has trained his sights on securing a place in Steve McClaren's England squad.
The full-back has matured into a solid Premiership performer for Fulham over the course of the last couple of seasons and he has been tipped to secure international recognition in the near future.
Fulham chief Chris Coleman feels Rosenior has the tools to flourish on the highest stage and the youngster is determined to catch McClaren's eye.
"I have got my eye on it (England) all the time," Rosenior told Sky Sports News. "I hoped it would be me getting the call up to the last squad and I don't see any reason why people can't look at me in that way now.
"I have played over 50 games in the Premiership and I am only 22 and I want to push on in my career.
"For me England is the next step and is what I am aiming for."
Cottagers chief Coleman added: "If Liam keeps playing the way he is at the moment, then England will come knocking."
