Brian Laws is positive about keeping Mark Crossley at Sheff Wed until the season's end.
Brian Laws is positive about keeping Fulham goalkeeper Mark Crossley at Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season.
Crossley linked up with The Owls in November and is due to stay at Hillsborough until January 1.
He has impressed in six appearances for the Championship club and Laws is anxious to hang on to the keeper.
Laws has discussed the matter with Fulham and has confirmed his Craven Cottage counterpart Chris Coleman is open to letting Crossley stay with Wednesday.
"Fulham are not against it," Laws told the Sheffield Star. "We're letting things run for the next week or so.
"They're quite happy so long as nothing drastic happens at their end.
"The possibility is that we can also play him in the FA Cup.
"Things are looking very positive. But we are also keeping something else in mind for if Mark has to go back."
