Chris Coleman has played down reports he wants to bring Freddy Eastwood to Fulham.
Chris Coleman has played down reports he wants to bring Southend United ace Freddy Eastwood to Fulham.
Speculation has strongly linked Eastwood with a £2.5million switch to Craven Cottage during the transfer window.
Though Southend are reluctant to lose the striker, it is understood they are prepared to let Eastwood move to the Premiership for a suitable offer.
Coleman has already added to his strike-force in January after bringing in Vincenzo Montella on loan from Roma.
But Fulham are also due to lose Collins John in the coming days after accepting an offer from another Premiership club, believed to be Watford.
That could lead to Coleman trying to sign another front man, but has refuted suggestions he is aiming to sign Eastwood.
Defence is also an area Fulham want to strengthen, with Coleman dismissing a link with Coventry City's Elliott Ward.
Of the Championship duo, Coleman said: "There is no truth in those rumours."
