Luton Town have signed Clarke Carlisle and extended the stay of Bjorn Runstrom.
Luton Town have signed Clarke Carlisle on loan from Watford and have also extended the stay of Bjorn Runstrom.
Carlisle has not played for Watford since last April due to a thigh problem, but has returned to reserve-team action in recent weeks.
The defender has now been afforded the chance to build up his match fitness further with a temporary spell at Luton.
He will spend the next month on loan at Kenilworth Road and could feature in Saturday's Championship game with Wolves.
Meanwhile, The Hatters have agreed a deal to keep Fulham striker Runstrom at the club for a further month.
Runstrom has scored two goals in five appearances for Luton and manager Mike Newell was happy to secure an extension.
"He's not going to play in the Fulham team at the moment and he's enjoying playing first-team football here," Newell told the club's official website.
"He's a nice, quiet lad. It took him a couple of weeks to settle in and get to know the lads, but with every performance he's getting a little bit better, stronger and fitter."
