Zoltan Gera feels he has now settled at Fulham after his goalscoring performance against Bolton on Saturday.
The Hungarian midfielder opened the scoring with his first league goal for the club and the Cottagers held on for a 2-1 win.
Fulham had chances to make the victory more emphatic and Gera was pleased to play his part after his summer move from West Brom.
"We played a great game," he told Hungarian newspaper Blikk.
"We could have won by three goals and I could have scored three alone. I hit the post and was off target, but it was my first really good game for my new club.
"So far I've not been satisfied with my performances but at last against Bolton I played well and my team-mates praised me in the dressing room."
The victory was Fulham's second in three games and they lie seventh in the Premier League despite having a game in hand.
Gera is hoping the Londoners can remain in the top half as he believes Roy Hodgson brought quality on board this summer after escaping the drop last season.
"It's early to talk about it but I think it would be annoying if we were fighting against relegation at the end of the season," he said.
"It seems that Fulham have made some good signings and built a very stylish team. If we finished in the top half of the table then I would be satisfied."
