Fulham move for Arsenal ace

Arsenal's Phillippe Senderos is in talks with Fulham about a move across the capital, Sky Sports sources understand. The Switzerland international is currently preparing for the World Cup finals in South Africa - but his own future could be resolved before their opening game against Spain next week. The 25-year-old is out-of-contract at the Emirates Stadium and he has already decided his future lies away from Arsenal. Senderos joined Arsenal at the end of 2002 from Servette, but he has played just over 50 games for The Gunners. The last two seasons he has spent out on loan - firstly with AC Milan in 2008 and Everton last term. Now he is ready to move on and Fulham have been quick to make a move for the central defender.

Schwarzer interest

The deal may not be the first between the two clubs this summer, as it is understood that Arsenal are ready to firm up their interest in Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer. Schwarzer is currently on World Cup duty with Australia - but the 37-year-old is a wanted man. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger refused to confirm Manuel Almunia or Lukasz Fabianski as his number one and he seems set to bring in a new keeper. It appears that Schwarzer is the man he is targeting and he could make a move in the coming weeks.
