Jol delighted to bring in midfielder

Fulham have continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Pajtim Kasami from Palermo. The highly-rated midfielder, 19, has penned a four-year deal at Craven Cottage after catching the eye of new manager Martin Jol with his performances in Serie A last season. Kasami made 24 appearances for Palermo after joining from Swiss side Bellinzona 12 months ago, while he also spent time with Liverpool during his youth career. The Switzerland Under 21 international now has the opportunity to continue his development in the Premier League and Jol is delighted to have secured his services. "Pajtim is a young, talented midfielder who has potential, so we are very excited about signing him on a four-year contract," Jol told the club's official website. "He is a versatile midfield player who can adapt quite easily to more than one position. "He is a key player in the Swiss U21 team. I am delighted to have been able to add two talented young players to my squad with the signing of Pajtim Kasami today, and Marcel Gecov last week, as I believe that they are going to be good additions to the squad both in the short and long term future."
