Winger Duff will move on after five years when his contract is up next month and Sidwell - top scorer last season - will also become a free agent.
Duff leaves with a record of 22 goals in 173 games while Sidwell and another released player, John Arne Riise, also played 100 games or more for the club.
Midfielders Giorgos Karagounis, Mahamadou Diarra and Derek Boateng are also leaving along with defenders John Heitinga and Matthew Briggs and goalkeeper Neil Etheridge.
Fulham manager Felix Magath has already said he intends to rely heavily on the club's young players in next season's Championship.
