Walsall have completed the signing of rookie goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray from Harrogate Town.
The 21-year-old has moved to the Banks's Stadium on an initial one-year deal after a compensation package was agreed with his former club. "Craig is one we have had our eye on for some time now," Saddlers manager Dean Smith told the club website. "We've received plenty of glowing reports on him from various sources so we decided to get in there early and broker a deal with Harrogate Town. "He's a bright, young lad who has played a number of first-team games at Conference North level and has the pedigree to really challenge for a first-team place here."
