Fulham striker Ross McCormack has signed a contract extension until 2019.

The 28-year-old, who joined from Leeds for £11million last summer, hit 19 goals for the Cottagers despite their struggles last season.

He told the club website: "I'm really happy. When I signed I had a year's option on my contract and the club and I have come to an agreement to extend that.

"I think if we don't get in the play-offs it will be another disappointing season. I've been in this league a long time and know promotion is not easy.
