Bristol City have revealed that Swansea City have enquired about Marc Goodfellow.Bristol City player-manager Brian Tinnion has revealed that Swansea City have made an enquiry for winger Marc Goodfellow.
The former Stoke City player (pictured) has been left frustrated by a lack of first team action with The Robins this season.
The 23-year-old has just completed a month-long loan spell back in the Potteries with League One rivals Port Vale and his abilities look to have interested Swans boss Kenny Jackett.
Tinnion admitted he would discuss Goodfellow's future with the player after the club's FA Cup first round home tie with Brentford on Friday evening.
"Swansea have enquired about Marc Goodfellow, but again I didn't want him going during the run of home matches that ends with tomorrow's game against Brentford," Tinnion told the club's official website.
"I'll be talking to Marc after the cup tie and I do understand why players not in the first team or on the substitutes' bench want to find a club where they will be involved."
Two other players in Kevin Amankwaah and Clayton Fortune have also asked for loan moves away from Ashton Gate, but Tinnion wants to keep to the duo for a busy period of upcoming fixtures.
Meanwhile, on-loan midfielder Tony Dinning has expressed his interest in extending his stay at the club.
Dinning joined on loan from Wigan Athletic and the player has expressed a desire to sort out his short term future.
"I definitely want to stay," said Dinning. "The team are going places in my view and every player wants to be involved with that sort of side.
"I don't know what the club want at this stage, but I'd love to sit down and talk sooner rather than later if possible because I would love to get really settled and concentrate on the rest of the season."
