Ex-Evertonian Kevin Kilbane is determined to heap more away-day misery on Liverpool when The Reds travel to Wigan Athletic this weekend.
Kilbane is without a goal in 75 top flight matches but views the visit of Liverpool to The JJB Stadium on Saturday as the perfect opportunity to break that duck.
Rafa Benitez's Liverpool side have still to win away from home in the Premiership this season and have failed to score in their last five on the road.
Goal droughts are something Kilbane knows all about, but the winger is hopeful he can help his side get back to winning ways after last Sunday's defeat at Tottenham.
"As an ex-Evertonian, I'm looking forward to playing Liverpool. I managed one win and a couple of draws against them while at Goodison, but there were more defeats than anything," said Kilbane.
"I didn't score in any of those games so it would be nice to score on Saturday and there would be a few happy Evertonians if I did that.
"I know I should be scoring more goals. It's one area of my game that I am looking to improve upon."
