Emmerson Boyce has reiterated that Wigan are not safe yet following back-to-back Premier League defeats.
The Latics had moved towards the relative safety of mid-table after a four-match unbeaten run, but have been brought back to down to earth in the last couple of weeks after two disappointing losses on the road.
They are currently five points clear of the relegation zone with six games remaining, and centre-back Boyce is well aware that the continuation of their recent poor run could see them hauled back into the bottom three.

"The season's not over yet and we can easily get dragged back into it," he told Wigan's
official website.
"Just look at Sheffield United last year, they were safe at one stage then went on a bad run and got pulled back in.
"I wouldn't say if we win (against Birmingham on Saturday) it's done and dusted, but whoever can win it will have a massive advantage going into the last games of the season. Hopefully that'll be us.
"We can't take our foot off the pedal, we've got to get the points on the board then we can start planning for next season."

Helping Wigan to secure their top flight status would round off a memorable season for Boyce, after he recently made his international debut for Barbados in a 1-0 win against Dominica in a 2010 World Cup qualifier.
"It was a proud moment for me and my family to represent Barbados," he said.
"People had a bit of a joke beforehand saying that it's a small country, but representing your country is representing your country and we got a victory as well.
"I've been over there before but the timing wasn't right as I've always been in the middle of moving clubs when the chances came, but this was the right opportunity at the right time for me."
