QPR yet to decide whether to go back in for Wigan striker

Queens Park Rangers failed in a bid to land Hugo Rodallega and have yet to consider whether to rekindle their interest in the Wigan striker, Mark Hughes has announced. Rodallega's future has been the subject of speculation this month and it is understood that Fulham have made a player-plus-cash offer for the Colombian, believed to be Andrew Johnson. Roberto Martinez has refused to rule out selling Rodallega, but Hughes has revealed that the Latics turned down a proposal from QPR earlier in the transfer window. Hughes says QPR have not continued their pursuit of Rodallega since that point and will have to think again about lodging another bid.

Right level

"We've been linked with a lot of players, to be honest," the Welshman said when asked about a reported £4million offer. "We made a bid over a week ago but we have not returned since. "We would have to revisit it if we felt he was the right one for us. "At the moment we put in an offer that we felt was at the right level and we got knocked back so we haven't been back since."
