Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is mentally prepared for more last-day drama as the race for Premier League survival heads down to the wire.
The Latics, who survived last season with a 1-0 final day victory at Stoke, currently sit in 17th in the table, three points above the drop zone.
Martinez's side lost to a last-minute Philippe Senderos header at Fulham on Saturday but the Wigan boss is not too downhearted after beating Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal in recent weeks.
Ahead of games against high-flying Newcastle and fellow strugglers Blackburn and relegated Wolves, Martinez is keeping his cool as he bids to keep the Latics up once more.
He told the Daily Mirror: "It's impossible to know how many points we will need because our last two games are against Blackburn and Wolves, but we know that we haven't got enough yet.
"To lose concentration from a dead ball in the last minute is frustrating, but to have 34 points now is a good effort considering where we were two months ago.
"I'm not desperate to avoid the last-day drama again - we understand we are still in the middle of a scrap, and if we have to go to the last day, so be it.
"As a club, we are prepared mentally that every single point is going to count and it could easily go down to the wire.
"I'm 38 years old and I feel like a 50-year-old, but it's a good way to test your heart."
