Swansea teenager Donnelly among new faces

Swansea striker Rory Donnelly is among four uncapped players named in an experimental Northern Ireland squad for their friendly with Holland next month. The former Cliftonville player, who moved to the Swans in January, is joined in the party by fellow uncapped trio James McPake, Daniel Lafferty and Will Grigg. Hibernian defender McPake was born in Scotland but qualifies for Northern Ireland though his grandmother, with boss Michael O'Neill actively looking to extend the talent pool available to him. Senior men including Jonny Evans, Chris Brunt, Aaron Hughes, Kyle Lafferty, Gareth McAuley and Dean Shiels have all been excused by O'Neill ahead of his second match in charge of the national side. However, former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll, who hasn't played for his country since 2006, is recalled. Crusaders defender Colin Coates, Notts County forward Jeff Hughes and Rangers striker Andrew Little are also back in the squad for the match with the 2010 World Cup finalists in Amsterdam on 2nd June. No captain has yet been named, with regular skipper Steven Davis injured and most of the other senior contenders rested.
