Sheffield United have put seven players on the transfer list.Sheffield United have put seven players on the transfer list, including four who have spent less than a year at Bramall Lane.
Blades boss Neil Warnock has decided Luke Beckett, Danny Cadamarteri, Rob Kozluk, Andy Liddell, Nick Montgomery, Paul Shaw and Paul Thirlwell can all leave the club.
Warnock is shaping his squad for a renewed promotion push next term and has already added to his ranks with Paul Ifill, Lilian Nalis and Danny Webber.
He admits the players on the list could be used to bring more fresh faces to the club after conceding they may not immediately exit Bramall Lane.
"It doesn't necessarily mean that these lads will immediately leave but we can not guarantee them first team football and we would like to make other clubs aware that they are available," Warnock told the club's official website.
"They still form part of the squad but may be sacrificed to bring in other new players or talented youngsters, either by a straightforward transfer or as part of a player exchange."
Beckett only joined The Blades in November from Huddersfield and is in talks with Oldham Athletic where he spent a productive loan spell last term.
Warnock paid Leeds United £50,000 for Cadamarteri in September and former club Bradford City could take the pacey front man off The Blades' hands.
Liddell and Thirlwell joined from Wigan and Sunderland respectively last summer, while winger Shaw has only been at the club for 18 months.
Kozluk is the longest-serving player to be put up for sale after six years in South Yorkshire, while Montgomery came through the ranks at Bramall Lane.
