Sheffield United have recalled loan duo Stephen Quinn and Ian Ross.
Sheffield United have recalled loan duo Stephen Quinn and Ian Ross ahead of Tuesday's Carling Cup third round tie with Reading.
Midfielder Quinn played seven matches for League One side MK Dons and has been recalled by Blades manager Neil Warnock with a view to blooding the youngster against The Royals.
Dons boss Danny Wilson hopes to persuade Warnock to allow Quinn to return to the club on a temporary basis after Tuesday.
Ian Ross, whose loan contract with League Two Boston was due to expire this week, is also expected to play some part in the Carling Cup.
Boston manager Steve Evans praised the 19-year-old midfielder's contribution to the team and confirmed he is set to utilise the loan market once more in order to add to The Pilgrims' squad
"I spoke to Neil Warnock and Ian is now back at Bramall Lane," said Evans. "Young Rossy has done extremely well in his short time with us.
"In terms of new recruits, I have a couple of players in mind and I will be making contact with their respective managers over the next couple of days."
