The latest instalment from Sheffield United's Nick Montgomery.Well it has been an interesting few weeks to say the least.
Again we have managed to continue our good form - we had a bit of a stutter following two draws - but then we followed that up with superb back-to-back victories over Luton and Crystal Palace.
Luton, although we won 4-0, was far from easy and in fairness the score flattered us a little bit, but you cannot forget they were third in the league at the time of that game so again that just underlines how impressive it was.
Then another tough prospect was the trip to Selhurst Park against Palace - as that is always a very difficult and intimidating place to go - but again we managed to get in-front and hang on, although there was a dubious penalty which made for a nervous end.
Getting the Palace win was important especially with the international week that was to follow.
Many of you will have seen that last week me and my team-mates spent a few days on a 'bonding' exercise in the Lake District.
We had been meant to be going to Malta on a sunshine break but for some reason that was cancelled, which was disappointing as it would have been nice to get some sun.
Anyway we went away and, well it wasn't sunshine. We had paint balling and sailing - and I obviously won, but on our return we had a fitness test on the Friday - so that meant we just had Saturday and Sunday off.
Again the last few weeks has seen some intense speculation about a number of us at the club, including myself, the gaffer and Jags [Phil Jagielka].
People will always watch you when you are doing well - we know that, but it is always nice to know that people are appreciating what you do.
It is a little bit strange for us with the fact it's the boss who seems to be getting most of the attention - but that is how he likes it at times, taking away the attention from us and making sure we are not under major pressure.
People are now suggesting that promotion is now ours to throw away and in some ways we can see that. We know with the start we have had that we are there to be beaten and we have to accept that.
We are now preparing for Saturday's clash with Millwall and we all know how difficult that will be. You can ignore the league position, as any team in this league can beat anyone else and because of that, there will be no underestimating.
However, without breezing over the Millwall contest - the fans in Sheffield are already waiting for the derby next month.
The game is sold out already and promising to be a really spectacular affair, it is always a tremendous contest and there is no reason to suggest this will be any different - but we have a number of games between now and then and must make sure we keep up our current form and attitude.
