Kevin Blackwell has played down speculation that James Beattie will be leaving Sheffield United in the summer.
Beattie has scored 20 goals in the Championship since joining the Blades in a £4million move from Everton last year.
He was linked with a return to the Premier League during January's transfer window and is again expected to attract interest at the end of the season.
The former England international has scored five goals in his last three games and Blackwell is delighted with the striker's form.
And the Blades boss also confirmed there is nothing to suggest that Beattie will be heading out of Bramall Lane after just one season.
Banging in the goals
"James is tied into a four-year contract here and at the moment I'm delighted he's banging in the goals for Sheffield United," Blackwell told the club's official website.
"He's worked hard to overcome the injury that he got over Christmas and, as far as interest in him goes, we can decide who and when anybody speaks to him.
"However, there is nothing to say he is leaving at the end of the season."
