Naughton and Delph in squad to face Czech Republic U21s

Kyle Naughton and Fabian Delph have received their first call-ups to the England Under 21 squad ahead of next week's friendly against their Czech Republic counterparts. Sheffield United defender Naughton will be hopeful of an appearance at his home ground - Bramall Lane - while Leeds United midfielder Delph has made the step up from the Under 19s. Micah Richards and Aaron Lennon have been included but the likes of Gabriel Agbonlahor, Tom Huddlestone and Joe Hart are left out, keeping them in the frame for a senior call-up against Germany. Other experienced players not called upon by head coach Stuart Pearce are skipper Steven Taylor, Andrew Taylor, David Wheater, James Milner, Mark Noble and Lee Cattermole. The match will take place on 18th November as Pearce begins his preparations for the 2009 European Championship Finals in Sweden. 21-man squad in full: Heaton (Cardiff), Lewis (Peterborough); Bertrand (Norwich), Cranie (Charlton), Gardner (Aston Villa), Mancienne (Wolves), Naughton (Sheff Utd), Onuoha (Man City), Richards (Man City), Stearman (Wolves), Cork (Southampton); Delph (Leeds), Johnson (Middlesbrough), Kightly (Wolves), Lennon (Tottenham), Muamba (Bolton), O'Hara (Tottenham); Campbell (Tottenham), Derbyshire (Blackburn), Ebanks-Blake (Wolves), Lallana (Southampton).
