Bradford City manager Stuart McCall is confident of extending the loan deals of Steve Jones and Nicky Law.
Sheffield United midfielder Law returned for a second spell at Valley Parade in October, while Jones later joined the Bantams from Burnley.
Both players have been in fine form for Bradford but they are due to return to their parent clubs later this month.
McCall is eager for Jones and Law to stay, telling
skysports.com: "I'm hopeful and confident that we can keep both of them here for a while yet.
"I've yet to speak to Burnley about it, but they seem happy to let him stay here and Jonesy is enjoying it, so hopefully we can get something tied up.
Enjoyment
"Sheffield United have been fantastic with us regarding Nicky and the amount of money we are paying him and I think to keep him we will have to pay a little bit more of his wages.
"Hopefully we can come to an agreement over that, but it does depend on how much of it they want us to pay really.
"They have been great to let us have Nicky here and it is doing us good, it's doing Nicky good and ultimately I think it is doing Sheffield United good as well for him to get out and play.
"No disrespect to Nicky, but despite him doing well here for us I don't think he will go back into their team, you'd have to ask Kevin Blackwell really.
"The Blades are going well this season and Nicky is enjoying his football here and hopefully that will continue."
O'Grady
Another loan signing, Oldham's Chris O'Grady, made his Bradford debut on Saturday as he came on in the goalless draw with Shrewsbury Town.
McCall said: "He played well against us twice last season, for Rotherham, and with Peter (Thorne) being out and Willy Topp leaving the club we felt we needed something different up front.
"He's with us for a month and we'll see what he can bring to the table, but unfortunately he hasn't had a lot of football recently. He's big and strong and he gives us another option up there."
