Youngster signs two-year deal

Craig Alcock has signed a new two-year contract with League One outfit Yeovil. The 21-year-old is a product of the Huish Park youth system and has been part of the first-team fold since 2006. He is understandably overjoyed to have extended his association with the Glovers and hopes to become an integral part of Terry Skiverton's plans in the future. "I am delighted the gaffer has seen fit to offer me this deal and delighted to be staying at Yeovil Town," Alcock told the club's official website. "I live locally and have been at the club for a long time and I am comfortable playing at the club. "I hope to become a regular in the team, improve my game and take Yeovil Town to greater heights as part of a team effort."

Yeovil boss Skiverton was equally upbeat after persuading Alcock to pen his contract extension. "It's great to have signed Craig," he said. "He has been really progressive this season, he's a local lad and very popular around the club. "I'm really looking forward to watching Craig develop his future with this club."
