Foxes boss feels free agent not ready for second tier
Leicester City will not be offering a contract to former Manchester United trainee Febian Brandy.
The 21-year-old striker has been without a club since being released by United last June but has been training with the Foxes for the past two weeks.
Leicester manager Sven-Goran Eriksson believes Brandy is a good prospect but he is not quite ready to make an impact in the Championship just yet.
"He is a good one and he might be ready in the future, but it is nothing that I put in for now," said Eriksson. "He is a good player but he is not ready for this level."
Brandy has previously spent time on loan at Swansea, Hereford and Gillingham and has represented England at youth level.
