Charlton have signed Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo and France international Rod Fanni on loan.

France U21 international Sanogo will spend the rest of the season at The Valley having recently returned from a spell at Ajax, while former Marseille right-back Fanni arrives from Qatari side Al-Arabi.

Sanogo, who was sent out to Crystal Palace for the second half of last season, made just four appearances for the Dutch club.

Charlton have provided a springboard back into the Arsenal first team in the recent past: Francis Coquelin was on loan in south London before emerging as a key player at the Emirates last season.
