Shrewsbury goalkeeper Dean Henderson dropped a late clanger to hand Charlton a goal in their Sky Bet League One clash

Shrewsbury goalkeeper Dean Henderson dropped a late clanger to hand Charlton a goal in their Sky Bet League One clash on Tuesday night.

With the game deep into stoppage time and Shrewsbury trailing by a goal, Henderson rushed off his line to try and smash the ball back up the pitch, but instead he sliced it right up into the air and as the ball fell down Josh Magennis was on hand to steer the ball into an empty net.

Jason Pearce had given Charlton the lead after 74 minutes at Montgomery Waters Meadow, with Magennis' second making it 2-0 and helping his side back into the play-off places.

Henderson, 21, who is on loan from Manchester United and is an England U21 international, has enjoyed an excellent season for the Shrews, but this is one he'll want to forget.
