The Swedish striker's hopes of travelling to the World Cup finals are in tatters after the tackle from Challinor, and he now says that The Addicks are preparing the case.
"Charlton are building up a case against Stockport. It looks like a summons will be launched at some point," confirmed Pringle to Sportbladet.
"I am not out to ruin him. On the other hand, I might hand in my own summons application against Stockport. Right now, I and my agent are looking at it."
The 31-year-old was stretchered off with a complicated leg fracture which possibly could end his career, although he has vowed to return to action, no matter how long it takes.
"I aim to come back," he stated. "But, after all, it's a matter of a leg fracture.
"It can take anything from six months to one year."
