A host of players including Paolo Di Canio and Chris Powell are out of contract at the end of the season and are hoping to have their futures sorted out soon.
However, Curbishley is keen to put talks on the backburner as he wants to focus on helping the side qualify for Europe.
"We have got a few players out of contract just like every other club," Curbishley told the club's official website. "And it is a healthy position to be in, having people going to the end to see if they are going to be offered anything.
"All I'm concerned about are the next 12 games - that's more important for me. I'm not being disrespectful but the next 12 games are really important to the club and we really don't want anything to get in the way of that."
"Most people understand the situation. It's always been the case here that we had to make sure we were still a Premiership club before we could even think about new contracts and hopefully we've done that, or nearly done that now.
"But it's not something we'll be looking at in the next couple of weeks, it's something we've got to keep an eye on but it won't get sorted out until the summer."
Meanwhile, Addicks winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce has returned to The Valley after a loan spell at Wimbledon.
