Brentford have turned Michael Turner's loan deal from Charlton into a permanent move.Brentford have turned Michael Turner's loan deal from Charlton into a permanent move.
Turner initially joined The Bees in August on a loan deal and he has impressed at Griffin Park
The 20-year-old defender failed to make the breakthrough into the Charlton first team and he has decided to leave in search of regular action.
"I'm very excited about the move," Turner told the club's official website. "I'm now getting first-team football, and that's what I've wanted for a year or two.
"I know I'm going down two divisions, but I was playing reserve football for Charlton, so I look at League One as being a step up for me.
"Although I was on the bench a few times, I was disappointed I never really got an opportunity at Charlton, but I'm looking forward to my football future with Brentford now."
