Charlton boss Alan Curbishley has told Dennis Rommedahl to bide his time.Charlton boss Alan Curbishley has told Dennis Rommedahl to bide his time and wait for his chance to shine.
Rommedahl arrived in the summer in a £2 million deal from PSV Eindhoven, with many tipping the speedy winger to take The Premiership by storm.
However, Rommedahl has failed to cut a dash this term and has been left a frustrated spectator in recent weeks.
Denmark coach Morten Olsen has expressed disappointment at Rommedahl's treatment, but Curbishley claims the winger must be patient.
"I had Dennis, Graham Stuart and Bryan Hughes who could not get on the bench on Saturday and they were really unhappy about it," said Curbishley.
"But that's the competition I want and I don't want those players to think they haven't got a chance."
