Charlton's Paul Konchesky is still seeking guarantees about his future.Paul Konchesky is happy to remain at Charlton after coming off the transfer list, but will reassess his situation if he cannot force himself into a starting place.
Konchesky spent three months at Tottenham after falling out of favour in 2003, but Addicks manager Alan Curbishley insisted recently that he figured in his plans.
Konchesky is pleased to have his future settled for the time being, but still wants assurances over a first team place.
"As far as I am concerned I am still at Charlton and nothing will change until the end of the season," Konchesky told the Evening Standard.
"I am contracted here for another two years. Nothing happened in January and everything is settled now for another six months.
"If the club do not wish to sell me in the summer then I will be happy.
"But any player wants to be on the field. I am playing well at the moment and I want to be starting games."
