Skysports.com can reveal that Yeovil Town have targeted Charlton's Kevin Lisbie.
Yeovil Town have enquired about taking Charlton Athletic striker Kevin Lisbie on loan.
Glovers boss Steve Thompson is keen to add some experience to his squad as he looks to negotiate a path away from the foot of the League One table and identified Lisbie as the perfect man for the job.
But it seems unlikely that the audacious bid will come to fruition, as Thompson explained to skysports.com: "We did enquire about him but Charlton are keen to see him going to a Championship club at least.
"We've got four or five strikers here at the minute, so we're not desperate to bring anybody in but if we could find somebody who fitted the bill then something might happen."
Championship strugglers Derby County are clear favourites to sign Lisbie, who is currently well down the pecking order at The Valley.
