Jamaica have sent striker Marlon King home after a breach of discipline at the country's training camp.The Watford marksman was set to lead the line for The Reggae Boyz against England on Saturday.
However, King has now been reprimanded by his country's management and will not play any part at Old Trafford.
"There was more to it than just breaking curfew and coming late, Marlon King was rude, he was rude and unapologetic," JFF president Crenston Boxhill told The Gleaner.
"In the discussion that the management team had with him, he was quite unapologetic, which was what really warranted him being expelled from the camp."
King is one of three players to have been disciplined by the Jamaica Football Federation, as Jason Euell and Jamal Campbell-Ryce were also punished.
Euell and Campbell-Ryce were also expelled at first, but they appealed and have now just be fined 50 percent of their match fee - but they have remained with the squad - unlike King, who has now left.
A statement from the JFF confirmed the news, and read: "The decision of the Jamaican Football Federation to impose firm disciplinary action against three members of the national senior team presently in England were borne of the Federation's policy of zero tolerance against actions that in view of the Federation can harm team unity, the goals and potentially bring the game into disrepute.
"Its also borne of the Federation's firmness that discipline is critical to building professionalism in the sport and in the players."
Sheffield Wednesday striker Deon Burton has been drafted in to replace King.
