Charlton boss Iain Dowie feels trialists Francisco Javier Farinos and Christian Bolanos are worth a look.
The duo played in The Addicks' pre-season friendly defeat to Welling United on Wednesday and are chasing a contract at The Valley.
Farinos is available on a free transfer after failing to make an impact at Internazionale, having spent part of last season on loan at Mallorca.
Costa Rica international Bolanos trained with Liverpool last term and is now having a second attempt at clinching a move to The Premiership.
Dowie has been impressed by his early glimpses of Farinos and Bolanos, and believes there is no harm in checking out the pair.
"We thought Javier was well worth a look," said Dowie. "You cannot play for the clubs he has without being a talented boy.
"He is having a look at us and we are having a look at him, that is where it stands.
"We also have a chance to look at Christian Bolanos. He is only 22, has something about him and they are two very interesting opportunities."
Meanwhile, Dowie has refuted suggestions that he has promised Stephan Andersen a transfer if the goalkeeper is not first choice.
Andersen had claimed he would be allowed to move on before the August deadline, if he was not in the team, but Dowie insists this is not the case.
He added: "I do not understand where that has come from.
"I had a conversation with Stephan and his agent, but at no stage was that relayed, so it has been misconstrued."
