Stephan Andersen has hit out at Leeds for pulling the plug on his loan switch.
Charlton keeper Stephan Andersen has hit out at Leeds United for pulling the plug on his transfer deadline day loan switch.
The Whites were all set to bag the Addicks keeper, but claimed late on in the day they were unhappy with the recall clause in the deal.
Andersen feels Leeds used the clause as an excuse in order to opt against the deal and secure Fulham's Tony Warner for a longer period.
"It is simply not right," explained Andersen to BT. "At first, Leeds had accepted the clause.
"The clubs had agreed, but I got the impression that the club wanted to get Tony Warner from Fulham and used the clause as an excuse.
"But I am almost certain that I will be playing for another club before the leagues restart after the international break."
