Alan Pardew expects to be able to call on Darren Bent against Sheff United.
Charlton boss Alan Pardew expects to be able to call on striker Darren Bent for Saturday's crucial clash against Sheffield United.
Pardew revealed Bent has been struggling with an injury but insists he is '90 per cent sure' the influential goalscorer will be fit for The Valley clash.
"We feel we're going to pick from a full strength squad. We have slight doubts about (Hermann) Hreidarsson, Darren Bent and Jerome Thomas but we think all three will be playing," Pardew told Sky Sports News.
"We don't think he's 'out of action' but he's got a slight knock. 90 per cent of me says he will definitely start but it's only fair to the public that I let it be known that he has a slight knock. We have some great replacements for him in any case."
Pardew believes The Addicks' season hinges on the outcome of Saturday's match.
Third-from-bottom Charlton trail The Blades by just two points and victory would lift the club back out of the relegation zone with only three games of the season left to play.
Pardew added: "Our season hinges on a home game and we've been very good at home. That's what we have to focus on as a team."
