Following relegation from the Premier League, Charlton have already sold top scorer Darren Bent to Tottenham Hotspur in a £16.5million.
Former Addicks captain Young could be the next big name to leave the Valley, with the full-back linked with the likes of Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Newcastle United.
And Pardew admits that, with Young turning 29 later this month, the England international will want to return to the top flight.
"I appreciate that at this stage of his career he wants to play in the Premier League," said Pardew in the Daily Mail.
"He's a difficult price because of his age and because he's an England player, but I'm sure one or two clubs will come in and he'll be interested."
Young joined Charlton in a £3million deal from Tottenham six years ago and he has made over 200 appearances for the club.
He signed a new four-year contract last summer, but appears likely to be on the move once the Addicks receive a suitable offer.
