Charlton have signed a loan deal for Preston midfielder Darel Russell, who will come in to boost the injury-ravaged squad.
The 31-year-old, who scored against Charlton in the Carling Cup earlier this season, has agreed a deal until January 3. Addicks boss Chris Powell moved for Russell after injuries to captain Johnnie Jackson and fellow midfielder Dale Stephens. Russell is the 21st signing Powell has made since the end of last season and could make his debut in Monday's top-of-the-table clash with Huddersfield.
