The First Division side are snapping up the West Ham reserve, following Glenn Roeder's swoop for Aston Villa number one David James.
The England Under-21 international keeper is tipped to have a bright future in the game and his presence will provide competition for Dave Jones's recent recruit from Holland, Maikel Aerts.
The move does seem a little strange considering the fact that Wolves have splashed out on their new Dutchman, but it will provide the former Southampton boss with more options.
Den Bosch, meanwhile, have moved to replace Aerts by clinching a move for former Dunfermline shot-stopper Kris Mampaey.
The newly-promoted Dutch outfit clinched his signature on a four-year contract to help compete with Martijn van Strien and Max de Jong for the keeper's jersey.
Belgian ace Mampaey has played for Willem II and, last season, for Manchester United's feeder club Royal Antwerp.
