West Ham's Hayden Mullins believes play-off failure could trigger exits.West Ham's Hayden Mullins is fearful that a failure to win promotion to The Premiership could trigger an exodus at the club.
Mullins is aware that several of the club's star men are being eyed by Premiership clubs, and believes that this adds even more pressure to the club's bid to come through the play-offs.
West Ham were held to a 2-2 draw by Ipswich in the first leg of the Championship play-off semi-finals, and now face a tough trip to Portman Road.
"We've been good away from home," said Mullins. "Maybe we are a bit more comfortable away.
"We got a very good result at Ipswich this season; a 2-0 win, so we've got to be confident.
"I was gutted to get to the play-off final and lose last season, knowing we might have been in The Premiership at the end of that game.
"We all realise we have a good bunch of players here and if we don't go up this season then a few of them may be leaving.
"Premiership clubs are looking so it's another factor for the boys to play for - to try and keep this squad together."
