Hayden Mullins feels he is reaping the rewards of his labour.Hayden Mullins feels he is reaping the rewards of his labour and is determined to keep working hard in order to nail down a place in the West Ham side.
Mullins found it tough to win over the Hammers faithful last term, but Alan Pardew kept faith and the 26-year-old has rewarded his manager with a string of impressive displays in The Premiership this term.
The midfielder has been a virtual ever-present for The Hammers this season and claims he is being rewarded for his hard work in training.
"I have put in a lot of hard work. There have been a lot of training sessions when I have had to put the work in and now it is paying off," he told Sky Sports News.
"I have played nearly every game in The Premiership.
"It has not been easy, it has been hard work to get there and I am just hoping to stay in the side."
The Hammers have won many fans for the way they have approached life in The Premiership and Mullins claims they will not change their refreshing, attacking approach.
"We have gone out and tried to take the game to teams," said Mullins. "We have not looked to sit back and put 11 behind the ball.
"We have tried to play good football and it is paying off."
