Mark Noble has pledged to stay with West Ham even if the London club are relegated.
Young midfielder Mark Noble has pledged to stay with West Ham even if the London club succumb to relegation this season.
Alan Curbishley's side are starting to put up a fight as they bid to extend their stay in the top flight to three seasons, having won their last two games to move to within five points of safety.
The Hammers have Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United still to play in their remaining seven games though, and demotion remains a very real possibility.
A number of star names are likely to abandon ship if the club's worst case scenario is realised, but Noble insists he will remain at Upton Park whatever happens.
"There will obviously be some changes and the majority of players will want to stay in the Premiership," Noble told the club's official website.
"But I am sure there will be a few staying with me and if we can make a core of them then hopefully we can come straight back up.
"Having said that, I don't want to talk too much about relegation."
Chairman Eggert Magnusson has already insisted that the club will not be forced into any rash player sales should they be relegated this season.
