Marseille midfielder Dimitri Payet will fly into London on Thursday for talks with West Ham, according to Sky sources.
The Hammers have made a £14m bid for the France international, Sky Sports understands.
Payet, 28, is an attacking midfielder who can also play out wide.
West Ham have already signed Spain U21 midfielder Pedro Obiang and former Manchester City trainee Martin Samuelsen since appointing Slaven Bilic as manager.
QPR striker Charlie Austin is odds-on to follow, while they remain hopeful of signing Alex Song permanently despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester City.
