West Ham have agreed a fee with Hull City for Croatian striker Nikica Jelavic, according to Sky sources.

The 30-year-old will undergo a medical with West Ham on Monday ahead of a move to Upton Park, where he will team-up with his former Croatia manager Slaven Bilic.

Jelavic joined Hull in January 2014 and scored 13 goals in 50 appearances for the club, but was unable to prevent the Tigers from suffering relegation from the Premier League last season.

If he passes his medical and agrees personal terms, Jelavic will become Bilic's eighth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Dimitri Payet, Pedro Obiang, Angelo Ogbonna, Carl Jenkinson, Manuel Lanzini, Darren Randolph and George Dobson.

Bilic spoke of his desire to bolster his forward options following his side's impressive 3-0 victory at Liverpool on Saturday.

Diafra Sakho is currently West Ham's only fit senior forward, with Enner Valencia and Mauro Zarate currently sidelined by injury.
