Weekend results

Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham Liverpool 3-0 So'ton
B'mouth 4-0 Huddsf'ld W Brom 0-4 Chelsea
Burnley 2-0 Swansea Man Utd 4-1 Newcastle
C Palace 2-2 Everton Watford 2-0 West Ham
Leicester 0-2 Man City

Arsenal - A

It was a fantastic performance from Arsenal. Even with the controversy surrounding the goals, for me they were superior, particularly in the first half, so it has to be an A - they've been very strong at home this season.

Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham

Bournemouth - A

A real positive for Bournemouth was Callum Wilson's hat-trick. It was a strong performance at home, and when you win by four goals having seen a man sent off late in the first half, it has to be an A again for that reason.

Chelsea - A

It was poor from West Brom, but they came up against a good Chelsea team on the day. Their performance at The Hawthorns was an A, with Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard both looking very lively and always likely to score goals.

West Brom 0-4 Chelsea

Liverpool - A

Liverpool looked very strong at Anfield and Mohamed Salah is incredible at the moment. He is probably the buy of the season in terms of money spent, so it has to be A for Liverpool after that performance.

Manchester United - A-

Paul Pogba back, Zlatan Ibrahimovic back, it will give them a massive boost. Pogba is a very strong player, Ibrahimovic also. So to have the chance to rotate coming through to Christmas is a massive boost for United.

They showed great character coming from behind so for United it's probably around the A- mark for them, because they showed they are capable of falling behind and still coming back.

Man Utd 4-1 Newcastle

Burnley - B+

It was another good performance from Burnley at Turf Moor this weekend and they have been very strong so far this season. It's a B+ for them given that they are level on points with Liverpool and Arsenal in the table.

Manchester City - B+

There was a big decision early on when Vincent Kompany brought down Jamie Vardy, and that could have changed the game, but City are rolling everybody over at the minute. They're producing the killer passes and killer goals, so it was a B+ performance from City in the end.

Watford 2-0 West Ham

Watford - B+

Under Marco Silva, Watford are a team capable of putting in some impressive performances. It was another strong showing on Sunday, with some good saves at crucial periods from Heurelho Gomes too.

Crystal Palace - B

It was an entertaining game at Selhurst Park. I think Palace will be frustrated they didn't win this game as they played well and took the lead twice against Everton.

Crystal Palace 2-2 Everton

Everton - B

Everton aren't below Palace too much in the grades because they showed some real courage coming back into the game twice.

Leicester - B

I thought Leicester were actually in the game for long periods against City as well so I will give them a B because I don't think it was a disappointing from Leicester in the end.

Leicester 0-2 Man City

Newcastle - C

Newcastle played well in periods at Old Trafford, and took the lead through Dwight Gayle, so I wouldn't be too harsh on them after that performance.

Tottenham - C

I have to say, and I've spoken to my Tottenham friends about this, I was very disappointed with Spurs' showing at the Emirates. They have been hyped up the last couple of seasons, and I expected a high-level performance from them, but they dipped well below that on Saturday.

Liverpool 3-0 Southampton

Southampton - C

Southampton are a team that are really struggling at the moment, with one win in seven games, so it has to be a C. I can't give them any more after losing by three goals at Anfield.

Swansea - C-

Swansea are struggling at this moment in time. I don't really know where they are going and how they are going to turn their fortunes around.

Burnley 2-0 Swansea

Huddersfield - D

Huddersfield will have been hoping to get back into the game after Bournemouth went down to 10 men in the first half, so it was very disappointing to see them fall further behind and they have to be looking at a D really.

Bournemouth 4-0 Huddersfield

West Brom - D

West Brom are usually defensively sound and make it difficult for teams, but they didn't offer anything so it's a D. Obviously Pulis has been sacked on the back of this result, but it's not because of the weekend's game, it's because he has had two victories in 21 games - very poor. It was more the games that preceded that than the Chelsea game itself.

West Ham - D

David Moyes summed it up for West Ham after their defeat to Watford. How can you go any better than D when he is already questioning his players after the first game?
