Hornets snatch late win

Goals either side of half-time looked set to see the game finish all square, but Helguson (pictured) showed real desire to powerfully meet a corner and fire The Hornets back into play-off contention.
Nigel Worthington`s Canaries made all the early running but were shocked when The Hornets took the head on the stroke of half-time.
A fortuitous own goal brought Norwich level, but it did not knock the home side out of their stride and they grabbed a deserved late winner.
Norwich looked lively in the early stages and went close when Phil Mulryne hit a post with a fine headed effort.
However, Watford found their stride in first-half injury-time as Micah Hyde was denied by Robert Green.
Watford pressed again and Allan Nielsen slotted home expertly after Jermaine Pennant fashioned an opening down the right.
Norwich came out strongly after the break and a wicked cross from the right resulted in Neil Cox diverting the ball into his own net.
Helguson wasted a good chance to win the match for Watford and Tommy Smith also went close, but the Icelandic ace did not let his head drop and his perseverance was rewarded with the late winner.
