Watford have secured Marlon King's services on a year-long loan.Watford have secured Marlon King's services on a year-long loan from Nottingham Forest.
King is currently surplus to requirements at The City Ground and finished the end of last season on loan with Leeds.
Watford were keen to bolster their attacking options following the sale of Heidar Helguson to Fulham for £1.3 million earlier this summer.
Hornets manager Adrian Boothroyd feels King's record speaks for itself and is hoping the 25-year-old can regain his best form with regular football.
"His goalscoring prowess speaks for itself. He's been the subject of two big-money moves during his career," said Boothroyd to the club's official website.
"But he's not had too great a time of things lately so I see this move as giving him a chance to really show what he can do at this level.
"I think we can get the best out of Marlon which will mean success for Watford and, of course, that's what we all want."
Meanwhile, Watford have taken former Derby and Walsall striker Junior on trial.
