Hornets to keep King

Watford have agreed a deal to sign Marlon King on a permanent basis.

Watford have agreed a deal to sign Marlon King on a permanent basis.

King has been a revelation at Vicarage Road since arriving on loan from Nottingham Forest in the summer.

The 25-year-old has scored 10 goals so far this season and Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd is keen to take up the option of signing him permanently.

"We believe Marlon will become a Watford player in January," said Boothroyd.

"There is an agreement in place with Forest, and it's just a case of organising everything."
