Marlon King insists his focus is on Watford after the striker was linked with a move away from Vicarage Road.
Following confirmation of the club's relegation from the Premiership, there has been speculation that several players could leave in the summer.
King has been mooted as a target for other top-flight clubs, despite a knee injury preventing him from proving himself in the Premiership.
He had scored twice before being ruled out for six months and is now aiming to feature in Watford's closing games of the season.
The former Nottingham Forest forward hopes to make the most of his opportunities in the coming weeks before The Hornets' return to the Championship.
"It's always nice to have speculation around your name," King told Sky Sports News.
"As far as I'm concerned, I am contracted to Watford for the next two years and I'm just concentrating on playing as many games as I can, and getting as fit as possible."
King accepts he wants to test himself in the Premiership, but has not considered bailing out on Watford.
He added: "He's (Boothroyd) the boss. I'm contracted to Watford for the next two years and it (leaving) hasn't even crossed my mind.
"My focus is on getting my fitness back and my sharpness.
"You can ask anybody who wants to play in the Premiership. I have a few more games left and I suppose I'm getting my chance in a small way."
